Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations for APATERO's AI-powered visual creation services. We strive to provide excellent service and fair refund policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
2. Subscription Cancellations
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions
- Can be cancelled at any time through your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You retain access to paid features until the end of your billing cycle
- No partial refunds for unused portions of monthly subscriptions
2.2 Annual Subscriptions
- Can be cancelled within 24 hours for a full refund (if no tokens used)
- After 24 hours, no refund is provided
- Access continues until the end of the annual billing period
- Automatic renewal can be disabled at any time
2.3 How to Cancel
To cancel your subscription:
- Log into your APATERO account
- Go to the Wallet page
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the confirmation prompts
- You will receive an email confirmation
3. Refund Policy
3.1 Eligible Refund Scenarios
We provide refunds only in these limited situations:
- Subscriptions cancelled within 24 hours of purchase AND no tokens have been used
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Fraudulent charges reported within 60 days
3.2 Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Any subscription where tokens have been used (even partially)
- All subscriptions after 24 hours from purchase
- Monthly subscriptions (no refunds regardless of timing)
- Custom LoRa training services once processing begins
- One-time purchases of additional tokens
- Violation of terms of service resulting in account suspension
3.3 No Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial refunds under any circumstances. Refunds are only available as full refunds within the 24-hour window and only if no tokens have been consumed.
4. Token and Credit Policy
4.1 Token Accumulation
- Free plan tokens: Reset monthly, do not accumulate
- Paid plan tokens: Stack month after month for active subscribers and do not expire
- Tokens are lost if subscription is cancelled or expires
- Bonus tokens: May have specific expiration dates as noted when awarded
4.2 Token Refunds
Tokens and credits cannot be refunded regardless of whether they are used or unused. Once any tokens are consumed from your subscription allocation, no refunds will be issued for that billing period. Unused tokens do not carry cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred to other accounts.
5. Custom Services
5.1 LoRa Training Services
- No refunds under any circumstances
- Payment is final once LoRa training is purchased
- No cancellation available once order is placed
5.2 Enterprise Services
Enterprise and custom service agreements have separate terms. Refund policies for these services are outlined in individual contracts and may differ from this general policy.
6. Refund Process
6.1 How to Request a Refund
- Contact our support team at contact@apatero.com
- Include your account email and reason for refund request
- Provide any relevant order numbers or transaction IDs
- Allow up to 5 business days for review
- Receive confirmation and timeline for processing
6.2 Processing Timeline
- Refund approval: 3-5 business days
- Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days
- PayPal refunds: 3-5 business days
- Bank transfer refunds: 7-14 business days
7. Service Interruptions
If our service experiences significant downtime (more than 48 consecutive hours), affected subscribers may be eligible for:
- Service credit equivalent to downtime period
- Additional tokens as compensation
- In extreme cases, partial refund consideration
Planned maintenance and brief service interruptions (under 4 hours) do not qualify for compensation.
8. Billing Disputes
If you notice an incorrect charge or billing error:
- Contact us immediately at contact@apatero.com
- Provide transaction details and explanation
- We will investigate within 2 business days
- Corrections will be processed within 5-7 business days
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy periodically. Changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers and posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
